Trees help to combat global warming by absorbing carbon dioxide, removing and storing carbon while releasing oxygen back into the air. It is estimated that trees can reduce the temperature of a city by up to 7°C. It also helps prevent floods and soil erosion by absorbing thousands of liters of storm water.

"Vidya Ke Bharose" Trust planted 500 trees along with school children at Atal Utkrisht Inter College, Saraikhet, Kullanteshwar Mahadev, Juniyagarhi of District Almora, Juniyagarhi and Sendhar Mahadev, VediKhal Inter College of District Pauri Garhwal, and held a detailed discussion on the adverse effects of global warming. It was organized in which college principals, professors, teachers and social workers participated.

We have planted 500 trees by 2021 in different parts of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, our target is to plant 10000 trees by 2025, which will contribute in improving the environment.
